Our farm is in Pantasina, a small village in the countryside of western Liguria (Imperia). For five generations our family has been growing olives and producing extra virgin olive oil from Taggiasca olives. Since the 1990s we have decided for organic farming. Pantasina, quiet and beautiful village, is located 14 km from the sea at about 450 m above sea level. In addition to organic olive cultivation, our company also dedicates itself to agritourism hospitality and agritourism. Our farmhouse “Il Roccolo” offers 16 beds in 3 beautiful holiday homes with pool and garden surrounded by lavender fields. 10 years ago we started the production of natural cosmetics from lavender, extra virgin olive oil and medicinal herbs grown by us.
The Farmhouse
Agriturismo il Roccolo is an oasis of peace and relaxation. The ancient farm, already inhabited in the 1700s, extends over 2 hectares and is covered with fields of lavender, perfume roses and aromatic herbs and pastures. Situated at the top of the Prino Valley, on the hill overlooking the village of Pantasina, the farm enjoys a splendid panoramic position, very sunny both in summer and winter. The view that can be admired from the Roccolo is incomparable, in fact the very open view offers a panorama over the entire valley until it meets the sharp line of the sea on the horizon. From the beginning of June to mid-August the flowering of the lavender fields makes the environment even more relaxing and suggestive.
